Great food. Great service.

Driving throught Thermopolis, I thought I smelled bbq, or someone smoking some meat. So I stopped to find a good place to eat. The reviews for this place looked good, so I gave it a try. This is a fancier sit down restaurant, more upscale than a diner. Prices were a little higher than diner, but the food was much better! If you are expecting a quick bite to eat, you may be disappointed. Expect to spend some time and enjoy your meal. I was greeted and seated right away. My salad came out quickly, and my food followed shortly after I finished my salad. I ordered the meatloaf. It was really good, and the mashed potatoes and brown gravy were excellent! I will definitely eat here again. I never did find the source of delicious smoked meat barbecue smell. And yes, this is inside the Days Inn, and has a full bar.

Normally the food is very good but my boyfriend ordered a medium steak which came over done, the waiter asked how everything was tasting which then my boyfriend told him it was well over done, all the waiter said was “okay” and preceded to walk away. We were presented with dirty plates, hair in our food and floaties in our water. Terrible customer service. I ordered shrimp Alfredo pasta and the sauce was extremely watery with barely any taste. The steak wasn’t only over done, it was very dry and visibly burnt. Our friends food was alright but one of our friends ordered a burger which was also a little burnt. Overall just a bad experience here

The service here was great, and frankly the herd of deer outside the windows made the whole night. The staff seemed unimpressed but we thought it was cool. The wine was good, not an expansive selection, but the options on the list were good choices. The food was pretty good. Overall I think it was worth the money. They were remodeling the dining room so we ate in the bar, and I am really glad, because again, the deer were very cool!

First day the wait for a beer was about 25-40mins. The second day figured I would give it a second chance and I wait for 30mins and did not get a menu or a drink. Horrible service and waiters/bartenders completely ignore you.

Always great food!! The view was amazing, staff was friendly.

Last night of a week-long trip to Yellowstone and vicinity. We ordered steaks, salads and baked potatoes, loaded. I added shrimp to my plate. Add three cocktails and the bill amounted to about half of what we’d been spending for dinner every other night of this week-long trip. Steaks were done perfectly, drinks great, salads carefully put together, shrimp terrific! We were very happy with our experience here and highly recommend.

Zero customer service. We are staying with in walking distance. Just wanted to get dinner and go back to our hotel. Stood at the hostess desk of the restaurant for 3 min + waiting for one of the TWO ladies standing there to acknowledge us, but neither of them looked at us or spoke to us. We left. I guess they didn't want our money.

If it was not connected to the Days Inn would be better

Food was good. We waited over an hour for a table & they wouldn't put our name down. We had to wait in line.... they told us more than once they were just cleaning up a table for us. Customer service was lacking. The host was literally laying his head down on the host counter while we were waiting.

Such a cool place to go! The kids really loved it because there was so much to look at.

You gotta stop by here when your going to Thermopolis Wyoming. The service was great, the food amazing. An anexspected view all around. Loved it!

Quite nice shrimp🦐, a flavourful rib eye🍖, and very good fries🍟, all washed down with beer or wine 🍷🍺. All at the hotel bar and quite unexpected there.

Steak was great. The Mounted animals in the Place are wall to wall and a huge variety of wildlife is on display. They have the largest european Elk mount I have ever seen.

Loved the environment. So much to look at, food is a bit pricey for what you get. Overall. Not bad.

The food and service was very good. Also enjoyed the theme of the restaurant and the bar. It's not a drive through. But the food for our family of six arrived right on time, for each course. We'll definitely be back.

Wait was longer than other places we've visited, but food was pretty good. Waitress was really nice and checked on us often until another table showed up. Enjoyed some tasty Krab Stuffed Mushrooms as our appetizer. For the main course we had a generic Deluxe Burger. Added flare to it through pepper jack, jalapenos and Frank's Red Hot sauce. Also had the Fish and Chips. They were well cooked and paired with some decent fries. Maybe could have used a bit more salt on the fries. Side salad was paired with some delicious ranch. Always like to find the good ranch places.

The food is amazing but the staff sure has changed over time. The restaurant could benefit from an overhaul and am image fix.

We had a great meal and a fun time at the Safari Club, the restaurant on site at the Days Inn. The restaurant features an incredible amount of taxidermy and exotic specimens from around the world that many are illegal to bring into the country nowadays. The bar and restaurant has great prices and a wide selection of entrees. We used the complimentary wine coupons and the $1 off per drink coupons we received from the front desk. Try the fried pickles as the appetizer and the huckleberry ice cream for dessert!

Excellent food. Great service. Fantastic environment... If you like trophy animals.

I have been here often, the food is very good, reasonably priced and its atmosphere is beautifully unique as well as hospitable.

3.5 Stars, plenty of room for improvement. I have been frequenting this place for 40 plus years and it's time to tear down and start over.

My husband enjoyed all the trophies amd the Buffalo burger. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. Both were good. Nothing outstanding on any level . Just good

Great Hotel Restaurant, fun easy going environment.

I was very upset at all the animals. This person must be a very egotistical man. The fact that they "give the meat to the locals" doesn't help the dead animal. I come from hunters. If you kill it you eat it. Otherwise, you are just taking the life of something for your own enjoyment. That makes you sadistic. The food wasn't good.

My group just ate there and waited over 1 hr for our food, after the appetizers. The appetizers were good, we had the spinach artichoke dip and egg rolls. I wish we had stopped there. I had the chicken fried steak that was the equivalent to eating a boot with gravy under it and the mashed potatoes were instant red skins, I know they were because in a pinch that's what I fix. Kenny the server was good but the management is the problem, there is no quality control and the staff them very short. Do yourself a favor and just go get fast food.

Don't go there if you are against trophy hunting. Lots of beautiful but dead animals on the walls

My family eats here everytime we come to Thermopolis. My company recently traveled there with 30 individuals most of whom are developmentally disabled and the customer service was outstanding. Highly recommend anyone to stop in and eat here!

Neat atmosphere. Good was good enough.Service was very slow and sub-par. While food was good, it was not as good as the prices would have suggested.

Friendly staff and nice environment!

The food was ok but the room and all the animals is incredible. It is worth it to go there.

There were 5 in our group and it took them 1/2 an hr to get us seated after being told they just had to put some tables together. The only real restaurant open. Service and food was good.

This place has gone way down

Food was amazing I had the bison cheese burger and my mother had a fajitas chicken sandwich. Staff was awesome beer was great. Its worth the stop

Seconding the whole deer thing, if your lucky enough to dine in around 5pm you might be able to catch the deer sightings if you eat in the safari club bar area. Food was decent, if not a bit overpriced in my opinion. Prime rib was tasty though!
